Job Description

The Head of Marketing is responsible for leading the overall marketing strategy, brand positioning, and customer engagement for the restaurant chain. This role ensures strong brand visibility, effective promotional campaigns, digital presence, and market competitiveness in line with the company’s vision. The position requires leadership in brand management, creative strategy, and consumer insights to drive business growth and customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Marketing Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and implement the brand’s annual marketing strategy and campaigns.
  • Create data-driven marketing plans to increase brand awareness, foot traffic, and sales.
  • Lead market research to understand consumer trends, competitor activities, and product preferences.
  • Ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with business goals and brand identity.
  1. Brand Management
  • Strengthen and maintain consistent brand positioning across all channels.
  • Oversee packaging, menu design, in-store branding, and product launch strategies.
  • Ensure all marketing materials reflect the brand’s personality and standards.
  • Lead development of promotional and seasonal campaigns (e.g., holiday promos, new menu items).
  1. Digital Marketing & Social Media
  • Lead digital strategy including social media, online advertising, website content, and digital promotions.
  • Oversee customer engagement, influencer partnerships, and community management.
  • Monitor digital analytics to improve campaign performance and online visibility.
  1. Product Marketing & Innovation
  • Collaborate with operations and R&D teams on new menu launches and product updates.
  • Lead creation of go-to-market plans, pricing strategies, and launch campaigns.
  • Analyse product performance and customer feedback to drive menu innovation.
  1. Customer Engagement & Loyalty
  • Strengthen customer loyalty programs and CRM initiatives.
  • Develop customer engagement strategies to improve retention and repeat visits.
  • Oversee customer feedback channels and manage brand reputation.
  1. Advertising, PR & Events
  • Manage relationships with advertising agencies, media partners, and PR firms.
  • Lead press releases, media engagements, store openings, and brand events.
  • Ensure effective execution of ATL/BTL marketing: TV, radio, outdoor, print, in-store promotions.
  1. Budgeting & Performance Management
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget.
  • Track ROI on campaigns and optimize spending for maximum impact.
  • Provide regular reports and presentations to leadership on marketing results and progress.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • MBA or relevant master’s degree is an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 8–12 years of marketing experience, preferably in the QSR, food & beverage, FMCG, or retail sector.
  • Proven track record in brand management, marketing strategy, and campaign execution.
  • Experience in managing digital marketing teams and creative agencies.
